For clients who want to add glamour to their lashes, accentuate their eyes, or simply add length and volume to thin lashes, eyelash extensions may be right for you.
Located in Harker Heights, Texas and serving the Central Texas Region, About Face Anti-Aging Institute is led by Mr. Jeff Garberich, PA-C. Contact us today to schedule a consultation and find out how eyelash extensions can naturally enhance your sparse or thin lashes.
What are eyelash extensions made of?
We use Bella lashes, which are made of faux mink. The lashes are handmade ensuring quality and consistency.
What to expect
Our esthetician meets with each client to understand the thickness and length each client desires and combines that with her expertise in knowing what will work best based on the client’s current lashes. From there, the client will receive treatment while relaxing on a facial bed.
During the treatment, individual lashes are dipped into a medical-grade adhesive and bonded to your natural eyelash. This process is done one lash at a time, so it does take some time.
How long do they last?
The adhesive can last about 4-6 weeks depending on how careful you are (the more you rub your eyes, wash your face, etc. the quicker the adhesive will wear off).

Are there any side effects?
The two main concerns when getting eyelash extensions are reaction to the adhesive and breakage. Some clients may experience an allergic reaction or sensitivity to the adhesive used for attaching the lashes, particularly in the eye region, which is sensitive to begin with. Be sure to let our esthetician know in advance if you have concerns about allergies as we do have alternative adhesives for sensitive skin. Also, frequent extensions could lead to hair breakage if you pull or tug at the follicles, which can lead to potential loss of lashes.
What does it cost?
A full set is $160; a 2-week fill is $40; a 3-week fill is $50
